well, quite frankly my experience tells me that there has to be a daily system in place to sustain and/or grow your speaking business... no matter if you’re a famous or high profile speaker or just starting your speaking career.   Once you get your marketing system in place, you have to do something on a daily basis to generate interest in your expertise. 

My experience was validated by an Internet marketer just last week.  I spoke with the owner of a sucessful company that serves speakers and meeting planners. 

He said that...

The #1 reason that the speakers he serves do not secure the paid speaking engagements when the call for presentations is presented is because the speakers do not know how to approach the invitation, do not know what documents to send and fail to respond in a way to which meeting planners respond favorably.
